Everything you need to know about using BlinkPay with Xero
Getting Started with BlinkPay & Xero
Congratulations on getting set-up with BlinkPay! You have now taken the first step to enabling your customers to pay you quickly from their bank account!
Using Blink PayNow will enable you to improve your cashflow by:
- Reducing the fees associated with processing payments (versus the fees charged for using cards)
- Reducing missed or incorrect payments (as your Xero invoice data is embedded into the payment, which minimises customer errors)
- Reducing the days to get paid (as the payment transaction is approved immediately and the funds are typically lodged in your account within 2 hours on business days, whereas card payments can take a few days to arrive)
Next Steps (~1 minute setup)
- Select the account in Xero (from the drop-down) where you want the payments processed by BlinkPay to be deposited
- Select the account in Xero (from the drop-down) where the fees charged by BlinkPay will be debited
- Select which branding themes you would like Blink PayNow to be the main payment method
- Click the 'Update Xero' button and the 'Ok' button on the pop-up to complete set-up
Setup Complete!
When you have successfully completed set-up, you'll see a screen that tells you can now invoice your customers with Xero and BlinkPay. The next time you generate a Xero invoice using the branding theme you selected, your customers will see a button labeled "Pay with Blink PayNow" in their Xero invoice.
